HaS Expertise consultants have experience in preparation of assessments of effects
for consent applications, as well as soil and air monitoring.
In particular, we have been involved in a number of assessments
of potential land contamination with regard to previous land use – e.g. horticultural. This
type of assessment is carried out according to national guidelines and international
best practice. Complete risk assessment as been undertaken, to
ensure that remediation is undertaken in the most cost-effective manner. Further

Assessment of potential downwind effects has also been carried
out – particularly for clients in the oil industry (BP and Caltex). Monitoring
techniques include testing at the source, and ambient testing.
