HaS Expertise is an Auckland based company providing specialist expertise in Hazardous Substances and Health & Safety. The company was founded in 2000 by Director, Suzanne Broadbent. Since that time, the market for health and safety related services has grown considerably, and the company has expanded to ensure that client needs can be met on an ongoing basis.

HaS Expertise work with a number of chemical importers and manufactures to ensure that all of their products are "legally" in New Zealand. This includes applications to ERMA to establish whether or not a product has been legally notified under the old legislation, and applications to ERMA for new products.
HaS Expertise can carry out these applications under the HaS Expertise name, further protecting the confidentiality of our clients. Most of the detailed application is contained in the appendices – including the identification of the client.
We have established a good working relationship with ERMA and clients will find that the application process is much simpler and quicker when using HaS Expertise. Whilst ERMA does not take any assessment at "face value", our reputation for comprehensive assessment, independence and integrity may help to limit the time that ERMA spend on their own review and assessment of the application.
